Painted doors are clad on both sides with 6mm thick MDF and painted directly onto the MDF. Lacquering cycle: 1 x primer, Sanding, 1 x primer, Sanding, Top Coat.

(high end painted doors with smooth finish)

Lacquered finish options for our MDF doors are great for a smooth finish to our doors. Finished with MDF and HDF boards, this option provides a finish with no texture in a variety of different colors.

SAFETY GLASS VSG

  • Safety - Our safety glass uses a layered construction with a foil layer to help maintain it's structure if broken, lessen the risk of injury
  • Hygienic - Because of the smooth surface found on both sides of glass, microbes can't adhere
  • Easy to keep clean - Will not streak when cleaning and won't discolor
  • Resistant to household chemicals - Household chemicals work great on this glass
  • Resistant to scratches - Our hard, smooth glass on our doors helps to resist scratches when cleaning
  • Sounding - Reduced sound traveling between rooms is accomplished from the sandwiched construction of this glass

Solid Core Structure for Luxeline Doors:

Our Luxeline interior doors are all constructed with a solid core structure. In our solid wood doors, you will find a solid 1-1/2" wood center surrounded by your choice of wood veneer.

Our MDF interior door option consists of a RT8 board encompassed in MDF/plywood and a natural veneer to complete the design.

Luxeline Interior Door Structure:

  • Stiles and rails: Constructed with engineered solid wood to a minimum of 3-15/16" that is then bonded to the core - matching vertical edges
  • Core: Wood fiber board - enhanced sound insulation - recyclable and eco-friendly
  • Crossband: MDF - a pressure-manufactured construction grade cardboard
  • Face Veneer: A wide selection of horizontal and vertical grains in different wood species
  • Adhesive: Our D3 adhesives that are used on our modern interior doors are moisture-proof and do not contain added urea-formaldehyde
  • Finish: With no added urea-formaldehyde, our commercial grade finish is a water based - UV cured finish
